“Mahindra is planning to export ‘e20’ to european market”

Mahindra & Mahindra is planning to export their new electric car “e20” to the European markets, a company official said at the launch of vehicle in chandigarh on Monday.

Mahindra Reva electric vehicles, chief of operations, R chandramouli said the company is working on the export plans & it is expected to commence the export by 2014.
M&M launched the ‘e20’ in Chandigarh, Punjab on Monday with a price tag of 7,18,723 Rs. (ex-showroom) for the base variant T0 & 7,55,414 Rs. for the higher T2 model. However the desired person can take the car to home with an EMI plan of 12,802 rupees.

Although, the car gets the subsidy of 15%, allowed only in Delhi which drops down the price to 5,96,000 Rs. in Delhi yet no any other state government has shown interest in promoting the eco-labelled effort done by the Mahindra.
The company drafted the launch plan to target the metropolitan cities first to promote the product.

“Bugatti Gangloff Concept”

Polish Designer, Paweł Czyżewski has devised a breathtaking concept Bugatti Gangloff. The Artist got inspired from the famous 1938 Bugatti Type 57 SC Atalante Coupe design.

Although the model does not exist in the real world as it is just a 3D rendered version created by the software Autodesk 3D’s Max.

The car design is simply exquisite & seems like a blend of the old classic mixed with the Veyron’s posterity. The exterior of the model resembles the 20th century American classics with long & broad hood which had been caged everyone with its appeal on the road.
The Headlamps looks like the eyes of an alien adorned with white led’s while the front grille is now in triangular shape which looks more aggressive than that of veyron & ready to gulp the things that comes in between its way.
seeing the car from behind will make one realize that how much area it will acquire on road. The car interior’s are avant-garde with the essence of veyron.

The designer says about the model “In time of commercial trash and plastic it is hard to see something that has a soul and is able to squeeze out a positive mark on the heart.”

“Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4”

The Italian supercars maker Lamborghini is about to launch the Limited edition of Lamborghini Aventador LP720-4 on the occasion of the company’s 50th anniversary.

The car gets the new name 720-4 as it produces 19 bhp more than the standard model LP 700-4. The acceleration of the car is 0-100 within just 2.9 seconds. Other customizations includes the car is embellished in the Dual tone color Giallo Orion (pearl yellow) with the carbon fibre aero kits at the bottom end of the car. The interiors get a niche touch by adding the yellow color leather to the centre part of the seats & the door panels with best quality stitching to match the customized theme.

There will be only 100 cars that has to be manufactured for the limited edition & expected to be unveiled at Shanghai this week.

“Royal Enfield 500”

Do you love the thump ride..? Than here’s a good news for you. No, we are not talking about the road rash where you can thump the fellow riders but we are talking about the all new Royal Enfield 500 standard.

Royal Enfield officially launched the bullet 500 standard in India. The motorcycle is powered by the same 500 cc engine which works in classic or thunderbird & it takes the place of cheapest 500 cc motorcycle under the Royal Enfield stable. The company replaced the fi-unit with the traditional carburettor fuel system & the massive capacity engine produces the 40.9 nm of torque & 26.1 bhp @ 5100 rpm. The attempt is being made for the people wants the old Gene (standard) of the Royal Enfield in the 500 cc variant.

However the company tweaked the appearance quite a lot by altering the legendry winged badge on tank, a new forest green color scheme, smartly redesigned grab rail for pillion to ensure safety & support to the back of the pillion. The seat is now lowered to make the riding position even better & comfortable for the rider on long journeys.
Auto start, 280 mm disc at front, gas filled shockers are standard equipment & to add more grip the 19 inch rims shod the MRF zapper now.
The company announced the price of 1,53,855 /-  (ex-showroom delhi)
Initially the product will be launched in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi-NCR & kerala as these cities have the traditional buyers of the Royal Enfield.

Volkswagen E-Up!

Volkswagen has taken the wrap –off its first All electric vehicle E-Up!

The concept was shown earlier at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor show. E-Up! is a reworked version of VW Up.The car is powered by a 60 KW (82ps) electric motor produces 210 NM torque which makes it capable of doing 150 KM in a single charge. VW claims that batteries will be recharged to 80% within a short time span of 30 minutes. Thanks to the Combined Charging System(CCS) that makes people to overcome the angst of recharging the car on a long journey as both AC & DC currents could be used. 0-100 mark will be achieved in just 14 seconds.

The car will be showcased in the next Frankfurt Motor show & bookings will be commenced afterwards.

“Paul Walker GT-R in Fast 6”

The car you are looking at is the heavily modified GT-R that will be featured in the next sequel “Fast 6” of fast & the furious movie series.

R’s tuning & SP Engineering from America modify the car to its extreme. The major modifications to the car mechanics are the completely redesigned cooling system, Switzer P800 Turbo Kit, HKS Downpipe & resonated Y-pipe. The final ECU remapping & tuning was done by the SP Engineering. The car runs on the 100 Octane fuel to avoid the knocking & premature combustion issues as the high octane fuel requires higher heat/compression rate to combust them & best used with powerful turbocharged engines. All these changes make it capable to unleash the 685 HP power & 603 NM torque on wheels & to control this much amount of power, Carbon Ceramic Brakes & Camber arms are replaced with the stock setup.

In exterior, Carbon fiber doors, engine cover, cooling panel set, BenSopra Body kit & GT wing is installed to make the car lighter & more aerodynamic during the race conditions.

This monster is expected to be the barnstorming performer in the movie & who other than Paul Walker can bridle up the 680 horses together.

We love the Supercars but always get disappointed with their “Not to drive anywhere” calibre. To end this belief, Italian Automobile design company Italdesign Giugiaro owned by Volkswagen Group unveiled the “Parcour” at Geneva Motor Show.

Parcour is an extremely modified version of the Lamborghini Gallardo powered by a 5.2 lt V10 engine which produces 542 horsepower & takes this weird Spor-tility vehicle from 0-100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 320kmph!

The concept weights 1550 kg. & has AWD & hydraulic Suspension system which facilitates the driver to choose the ride height between 8.3 inch to 13 inch that has been leaving the world known SUV’s in a awe. Thanks to 22 inch wheels, You would probably be get amazed by knowing the fact that it manage the height range from 210 MM to 320 MM while the range rover is capable of doing only between 220 to 290MM!

Company showcased it in two models, Roadster & coupe. However Roadster have some slightly changes like alteration in windshield design, redesigned seats to ensure safety & more style.

The concept will not come in production, although it could be a Death-defying idea to take a blistering entity on a rough track while wearing the high shoes.

Details of Rolls Royce Wraith

The Wraith is the most powerful car ever built by the British auto manufacturer Rolls Royce.

The new luxury coupe is based on the Ghost while it has 183 mm shorter wheelbase, 130 mm short in length & 43 mm lower in height than the Ghost.

Powered by a V12 engine which produces 624 bhp & takes the 2.5 ton monster from 0-100 kmph in just 4.4 seconds. several mechanical changes has also been made like steering weight is heavier at high speeds & light at lower speeds for better control. Suspension get
more stiffer to improve the body roll & control while cornering hard.

On technical hand, it is said that car has an intelligent Navigation assisted-transmission, which pre-select the appropriate gear according to the driving style & navigation
data provided by the GPS for the road ahead by the eight speed ZF Gearbox. In exterior, the suicide doors adds a classic luxury touch to wraith. It is expected to be launched by the end of 2013 & price would be around $3,30,000.

“Meet the New Gulf Lotus X12”

After gaining the name for palm beach, Burj khalifa & world’s best fountain, Dubai headed to gain the name for an eyesore known as Gulf Lotus X12.

Its a custom made SUV, which has been designed in Dubai. The car is based on Hummer judging by the Front windscreen & the Pillars. while the headlights,roof line,taillights were taken from the BMW 7 Series & the front grill contribution is done by the Lincoln. Some other mods is also visible like the LED on the front bumper & 3 pipe centrally aligned exhaust.
Dubai is known for the appealing designs & infrastructures but things goes exactly opposite of it this time.

“Audi received first autonomous Vehicle License”

Audi is the first Auto manufacturer to receive the ‘Autonomous'(piloted) vehicle License in Nevada.
To get an Autonomous vehicle license in Nevada is not a cakewalk. The company has submitted a long application consisting of details regarding the safety technology used by cars, documents for the drivers trained under the program. Also, proofs to ensure that the vehicle has been tested for minimum 10,000 miles. Audi also demonstrated the working capabilities of Autonomous vehicle to the License Authority before the approval.
