“Honda Sport Hybrid Coupe in Indonesia next month”

Honda is planning to launch their 2013 ‘Sport Hybrid Coupe’ named as CR-Z in Indonesia next month. This will be the first offering with a Gasoline-Electirc powertrain in Indonesia.

Cr-Z is a huge success for Honda in several countries. In USA, it is one of the least polluting vehicle available in the country. CR-Z is the only car offers a Six speed manual transmission on hybrid car in the World, however a CVT(continuously variable transmission) is also available. The car is powered by a 1.5 lt i-VTEC engine produces 122 BHP at 6000 rpm &174NM of torque on CVT transmission model.

CR-Z also earned the Japan Car of the Year Award for year 2010-2011. Honda is dedicated to build-up its hybrid car sales number in Asian countries & planned to reach the mark of 20,000 for 2013 than 12,000 in the last year. Although the launch date has not been declared but expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2013.
